What We Do
Personal Pediatric Care is dedicated to helping children with special needs gain necessary skills and specialized medical care to support optimal growth and development. Transportation assistance is available to and from our daycare center.
Medical Services
We develop an “individualized plan” for each child we serve, from infancy to age 21, to accommodate their specific needs. As a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facility (PPEC), Personal Pediatric Care’s skilled pediatric nurses provide constant assessment and needed care. Our caring team remains in contact with your child’s physician, reporting findings and progress.
Therapeutic Services
Personal Pediatric Care provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies, according to your child’s unique needs, as prescribed by their physician. Therapists develop gross and fine motor, oral-motor, and communication activities to help children reach their maximum physical and functional potential.
Education
Our entire team is dedicated to maximum early intervention to help prepare children with medically complex needs for school and other life situations. Designed to support psychosocial and educational needs, play based learning and socialization are a major part of our developmental program.
Admission and Financial Information
A doctor’s prescribed order is required for our services. Your child’s care may be covered by insurance or Medicaid If their medical condition requires skilled nursing care. Contact our highly skilled team today to schedule an eligibility assessment. We’ll even coordinate with your child’s physician and insurance case manager to complete the approval process. Personal Pediatric Care accepts Medicaid and Mississippi CAN.
